Arubans traveling to Aruba

Aruban residents entering Aruba after travel 

As per August 1st 2021

  • Aruba residents are required to complete the ED online process – Personal Information, Self-Health declaration and section covering required PCR test

  • Aruba residents who are not vaccinated are required to either upload a negative PCR test or purchase a PCR test during the ED online process for a test to be administered upon arrival at the airport in Aruba at the cost of $75 which can be paid with cash, debit or credit card

  • Aruba residents traveling from a low risk area with a valid AZV card who can present their vaccine certificate older than 14 days are exempt from uploading a PCR test on the ED online platform or testing upon arrival

  • Aruba residents traveling from the following areas considered high risk – see list below - are required to either upload a negative PCR test or purchase a PCR test during the ED online process for a test to be administered upon arrival at the airport in Aruba at the cost of $75 which can be paid with cash, debit or credit card.

  • Everyone is required to wear a face mask on the plane and at the airport in Aruba.

 

Aruba residents are exempt from the Aruba Visitors Insurance.

 

Children under the age of 12 are exempt from testing but will undergo health screening which includes a temperature check and a short health interview.

 

Same day travelers are exempt from testing and from the Aruba Visitors Insurance.

Aruban citizens residing abroad 

  • Required to complete the ED online Process – Personal Information, Self-Health declaration, sections covering PCR test and the Aruba Visitors Insurance

  • Required to either upload negative PCR test or purchase PCR test during the ED online process for a test to be administered upon arrival at the airport in Aruba 

  • Required to purchase the Aruba Visitors Insurance

  • Required to wear a face mask on the plane and at the airport

Aruban Students 

A student is a person who is enrolled in an educational institute outside of Aruba and is visiting and will be staying with his/her relatives in the first degree/ former legal guardian or primary caregiver who is a resident of Aruba. 

 

  • Required to complete the ED online Process – Personal Information, Self-Health declaration, sections covering PCR test

  • Required to purchase the Aruba Visitors Insurance

  • Required to either upload a negative PCR test or purchase a PCR test during the ED online process for a test to be administered upon arrival at the airport in Aruba

  • Wear a face mask on the plane and at the airport in Aruba

Residents of Curacao
  • Required to complete the ED online Process – Personal Information, Self-Health declaration, sections covering PCR test 

  • Required to either upload negative PCR test or purchase PCR test during the ED online process for a test to be administered upon arrival at the airport in Aruba

  • Wear a face mask on the plane and at the airport in Aruba

 

Exempted from the Aruba Visitor Insurance. 

 

 Residents of Bonaire
  • Required to complete the ED online Process – Personal Information, Self-Health declaration

  • Required to either upload negative PCR test or purchase PCR test during the ED online process for a test to be administered upon arrival at the airport in Aruba

  • Wear a face mask on the plane and at the airport in Aruba
